I met the lovely Lindsey & Carl near the end of August 2020 after they contacted me through Facebook to possibly shoot their wedding at Matfen Hall in 2022. As soon as I finished the consultation I knew I wanted to photograph their day. Thankfully they booked myself the following day.

I suggested during our conversation to possibly use their pre-wedding shoot photos as a 'Save the Date' image as this has proved popular with previous brides in the past. We originally planned to shoot at Chopwell Woods, but unfortunately my tyre burst on the A1 whilst on the way to scout the location out.

Thankfully we rescheduled a couple of days later and we suggested to take the photos during sunrise on the wonderful Northumberland coast.

We met 30 minutes before sunrise and was able to capture some lovely silhouettes before the sun came up

Then the sky just lit up as the sun started to rise!

They brought their lovely dog, Maisy so we had to take advantage of the perfect conditions

Maisy, then took a step to one side whilst my wife looked after her so I could have some time alone with Lindsey & Carl
