Hi, I am Paul

I am a North East photographer/videographer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I picked up my first 'professional' camera after my wife forced me to purchase one for our trip to New York in early 2012. I became addicted within months and watched various YouTube tutorials to make sure I was getting the best out of my new purchase. One year later and I was photographing my first wedding!

I've pretty much worked in retail throughout my career. This has helped me listen and talk to people in a very friendly, natural way. Starting off in McDonald's Restaurants as my first job I then went on you manage a large independent games retailer which brought my communications skills to a different level. I'll stop talking about the past as it's sounding like I'm writing a CV :-)

I arrive at your wedding nice and early, to avoid making you stressed on your special day. This allows me to take my time photographing the details on your wedding day without feeling rushed and also allows me to grab a coffee...I love coffee :-)

After your first dance is usually when your photographer packs up and says "goodbye". Not me, when you invest in Paul Flannigan Photography, I'm there to help you throughout your day and capture those special moments of your friends and family enjoying themselves on the dance floor, but this also gives me the opportunity to capture some lovely evening portraits - no matter what the weather!
