I've known Ben from when we were young and attending the same high school together, so being asked to photograph his wedding with the beautiful Mary was an absolute honour.

They chose the Usb & Album package and we photographed their pre-wedding shoot on a cold, windy day at the stunning Alnwick Castle. Both Mary & Ben seemed a little nervous at first being in front of the camera, but they soon relaxed into it and became absolute naturals.

Their ceremony was held at the St Mary The Virgin Parish Church Hall, Ponteland on Thursday 20th February. It was my first visit to the church and I certainly hope it's not the last. Their staff were so friendly and accommodating, in allowing me to grab some photos at the front of the alter whilst the ceremony was taken place.

After the ceremony we then headed off to the lovely Horton Grange Hotel for their speeches and evening reception. Horton Grange has some lovely surrounding areas within its grounds that made it so easy to grab Mary & Ben for some quick portraits throughout their day.

We finished the evening with sparklers at the entrance of the venue which always make for some lovely photos in colour and black and white.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Ben and Mary for letting me capture their special day. It was a privilege to be a part of it.
