When I first received a phone call and 'Iceland' popped up on my caller display I was a little confused. It turned out to be Gregg who lives in Iceland, but is originally from Newcastle upon Tyne asking if I had their wedding date of 11th October 2019 available. Thankfully I did because it was a wedding I'd never forget

I met Berglind & Gregg only a week before their wedding date to discuss their details for their wedding which would take place at the beautiful Matfen Hall. Matfen Hall is a place close to my heart as not only did I get married there in 2015, but I'm lucky to be a member of the golf course there. Matfen Hall is a venue that is surrounded by beautiful locations that make for wonderful photos.

Their ceremony took place at the Holy Trinity Church which is just a short walk from Matfen Hall. The church staff were so welcoming in allowing me to capture some special moments during the ceremony and also allowing confetti to be thrown just outside their wonderful churchyard

Berglind & Gregg's first dance was a little different to what I usually photograph and it made for a fantastic atmosphere. They went with a ceilidh tradition which I captured for 100's of photos of all their guests smiling and dancing the night away.

Berglind & Gregg - Thank you! Thank you for letting me capture your special day plus allowing me to get the chance to meet so many people from around the world; guests from Newcastle, USA, Iceland and many more.
