Hello, I'm Paul and thanks for taking the time to visit Paul Flannigan Photography. I am a North-East based professional wedding photographer and videographer.

I first started using a camera in early 2012 just to have a hobby on the weekends. Things changed in 2013, after an image I took of our wonderful Tyne Bridge, reached over 85,000 people in a short period of time. This was when my hobby became a huge passion of mine and I knew this was what I wanted to do for a living.

This led me onto to photographing weddings. My first wedding was also back in 2013 and I went on to photograph a few more within the following year. I’ve since reached over 200 weddings, each one gaining valuable experience in helping your day run as smoothly as possible.

I absolutely love what I do for a living. Photographing weddings and being a part of one of the most important days of your life is a huge thrill and something that I find difficult to describe. Witnessing your special day is something I’m incredibly proud of and is a pleasure to capture these moments that you'll treasure and talk about for years to come.

In October 2020 during what was a difficult year for us all, I was awarded the North of England Wedding Photographer of 2020. This was an incredibly achievement for me and something I am incredibly proud of.

Photography has changed my life. After having met some wonderful couples, it’s something I'm deeply passionate about. I hope that one day I’ll become a part of your future story.
